Earlier on in the week it looked Widnes were given a +10 start with a couple bookmakers ahead of their derby match with Warrington – but it seems +12 at a 10/11 price is the best you’re going to get.
Warrington to cover a 10-point handicap is still available with SkyBet as one of their alternative handicaps at 8/11.
One would think that if Wire keep up the momentum generated from their fightback against Hull and their win over Leeds then they will have too much for Widnes and a comfortable victory may be in sight.
If you fancy Warrington to cover more than the 12 on offer on the standard handicap betting, Boylesports have them to cover +14 at 6/5.
Looking at the last two home outings for Widnes, they have been on the end of 34 and 36-point defeats to sides either in form or finding their form in Castelford and Salford respectively. Warrington will certainly hope to be the latest side to leave the Select Security Stadium with an emphatic win under their belts.
Backing them to cover 12 points at 10/11 certainly seems to be the safe bet if you fancy a comfortable Warrington win, but one would understandably be tempted for them to cover another two points for 6/5.
EDIT: Warrington are 11/10 with a -10 start with Coral which seems to be the best value bet out there.
For those that fancy the home side to spring a surprise, they’re available at 10/3 with Boylesports.
